"I am very unpredictable"
The net... rather orkut savvy junta would have many times come across this statement in the "about me" section of infi profiles .... to start with this very place and statement makes the protagonist highly predictable of all species ..... i mean its very predictable for people to think they are unpredictable !!!
This blog is nothing but a medium to vent out the inherent frustration of a person who once thought of mentioning the same in his profile but failed due to his sheer laziness for anything and he later started finding reasons to justify how predictable are the people who love calling themselves unpredictable for highly predictable reasons.
If you see it psychologically it is the struggle for a person to establish his own identity different from the crowd (who here are the predictable ppl as called by the unpredictables). Also this new badge of being different gives them a feeling that they are something special and can do wonders in a grp or as individuals... well wonderful is again more wonderful if it is unexpected(shall i say unpredictable!!!)
Sociologically .... even the society cares about people who are over/under normal ... as in .... what could make a better news than a person(more if gal than a guy... its indian society afterall) whom you have believed to be "decent charactered" does an "Out of the Box" task(the box being the society constraints). So even the society has its own ways to reward unpredictablitity ... it makes you famous in no time!!!
Its mostly a flattering comment when one remarks you as unpredictable .... because most of them do it for showing that they expected a better response where you frowned or if they dont understand you. Being with unpredictable people would be damn difficult as more often than not everyone has a preconceived notion of the response that would be shown.... well unpredictablity at times can result in novelity but more often it can create embarrassment in a group as mutual compatibilty is a question when there is such high uncertainity of reaction.
So.... do you still think being unpredictable is such a great quality .... well given a chance even i would like to be unpredictable as it would save me from someone else reading my thoughts cos then i become predictable .... hey does it sound like XMen's Xavier ??....may be unpredictabilty is an evolving characterstic of future human beings !!!!!

You continue being unpredicatable and no, am nt being tongue in cheek :) I expected you wud be actually putting in some such "unpredictable" about me's frm orkut ( copy/paste) without naming the source to spice it up. But good that you wrote and dint keep it pending any further given the damn busy schedule you are following these days :P

Hmmm...true. Feeding our ego monster (variously) is one of the basic needs of human psyche. One of its manifestations, could be this 'joy' of staying (claiming) unpredictable.(Or not completely understood)
